Victor Sloan (AB, University of Chicago, 1980; MD, New York Medical College, 1989) heads rheumatology drug development at Celgene and enjoys it immensely. His daughters (ages 10 and five) are the joy of his life.

Leslie E. Darrell (BA, Russell Sage College, 1981; MS, Speech Pathology, College of St. Rose, 1991) is still enjoying the coast of Maine and knows that FHP fostered her interest in alternative therapies --- EFT, TAT, and other energy modalities. Her sons are now 24 (engaged) and 26 (married, no children) and perennial students as well - patent law and continental philosophy . . . She would love to hear from other FHPs from '78.

Aimee C. Timmins (Music; Master's of Music, University of Maryland - College Park; Certificate Program, Studio Art, Washington Studio School) has been teaching for 23 years in public schools as music teacher, art teacher, piano composition teacher, and MIDI technology teacher. Since 2004 she has taught art history and music appreciation online. Now she serves as Dean of Faculty for an online high school nationwide and international.

One is a student at UD and the other is at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He and his wife, Angela, are enjoying the empty nest in Brussels, Belgium for a few more years.

Laura J. Nicholson (Biology; MD, 1990; Ph.D. 1994) moved to San Diego in 2002 and married Anthony Essex, a molecular geneticist, in 2005. She moved her practice to Scripps Clinic in 2006, where she cares for patients and teaches residents. She enjoys spending free time at the beach and traveling.
Kelly M. Rupp (Consumer Economics; Secondary Teaching Certification, University of Phoenix; Masters, Multidisciplinary Studies, SUNY at Buffalo) enjoys being a middle school career & life skills (Family & Consumer Sciences) teacher very much. She has been doing this for 10 years and only wishes she made the choice earlier. She believes her background at U of D all those years ago prepared her well.

Wayne Sentman (Agriculture) Wayne is currently living in Boston, MA with his wife Christy, and their three dogs. Wayne leads natural history trips around the world for a marine conservation non-profit organization, Oceanic Society. Hendrik-Jan Francke (Psychology) is currently enjoying running his firm Bright Orange Thread, a web development agency. He taught for eight years at UD in the Visual Communications program. Hendrik-Jan Francke has a wonderful family of four!
Jeanne (Crotty) Roth (Environmental Science) is on a three-year tour of duty at her husband's company headquarters near Basel. They have three kids who are all doing well in a totally new environment.

Jennifer Alvarado (Biological Sciences Education) is a science teacher at Cinnaminson High School, teaching Forensic Science and Anatomy/Physiology to juniors and seniors. She just recently received her Masters of Science degree in Forensic Medicine from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She resides in Riverton, NJ with husband Bernie and two children, Maryn and Mason.

Kimberly M. Fern (English & Psychology; MA, University of Chicago, 2000; Ph.D., University of Chicago, 2006) began a position as assistant professor in Psychology at Michigan State University in the fall of 2008.
Chad A. Henderson (English; MA, American Literature, Tulane University, 2001) is teaching English at Glasgow High School in Newark, Delaware.
Kenneth W. Kozielski (Business Administration; MBA, University of Delaware, 1998) is Senior Director, Strategy and Insights at ARAMARK in Philadelphia since 2005. He is married to Megan Facemyer Kozielski with three beautiful daughters, Anna (2002), Mia (2005) and Julia (2007).
Leslie R. McNair-Jackson (English; JD, Touro College of Law) is married to UD alum Vincent E. Jackson II. She and her husband are parents to three-year-old Vincent Eamonn Jackson. She is a lawyer employed by the Office of the Public Defender in Camden, NJ.
Meredith L. Moore (Biochemistry; Ph.D., Molecular Pathology, University of Texas - Houston Health Science Center, 2002; Howard Hughes Post-Doctorate Fellowship, Harvard Medical School of Genetics) is now an assistant professor in the Neurosurgery Department of the University of Texas - Houston Medical School.
Ami R. Schiess (International Relations; MA, Latin American Literature, University of Massachusetts, 2000) married the wonderful Andy Peay in 2006 and they had a baby boy, Jack, in October. She currently writes curriculum directed at middle and high school in the field of global education.

James R. Romesberg (Chemical Engineering) is currently attending Wilmington University's MBA program at night and working at the Sunoco Marcus Hook Refinery as a shift supervisor in the FCC unit.

Andrea L. (Beaudoin) Anderson (Anthropology & History; MA, Anthropology, Binghamton University) is a lab coordinator for UD's Anthropology labs. She has a two-year-old daughter and wonderful husband who works full-time for the Delaware National Guard.
Brad A. Sivert (Operations Management & Business Management; MBA, 2008) is
currently working as a senior marketing product manager at ING DIRECT in Wilmington, Delaware. He recently finished an MBA at the University of Delaware, with a focus in Marketing, and decided to continue taking post-MBA classes at Wharton to continue his education. While he enjoys working at ING DIRECT, his long-term goal is to become a professor at the college level.
Amee Woodard (Dietetics) is a registered dietitian working for the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children in New Castle County, DE.

Julissa Gutierrez (International Relations; Master's, University of Chicago - School of Social Service Administration, 2006) is currently New York Director of Civic Engagement for National Association of Latino Elected & Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund.
Colleen Kirby (Criminal Justice; JD, University of Baltimore, 2007) is currently prosecuting misdemeanor criminal offenses in the District Court of her hometown, Ellicott City, Maryland.
Kelly E. (Brubaker) Lackey (Psychology) was married in June 2007 and is working for the State of Delaware Division of Family Services as an adoption worker for children in foster care.
Evan Roberts Price (Political Science and History) is working toward a Masters of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh and expects to graduate in 2010.

Nicole Helmers (Animal Science) is currently in her sophomore year of veterinary school at the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine with a scheduled graduation date of May, 2011. She was recently engaged to UD alum Adam Goldstein, who finished his BS degree in 2005 and his MS in 2008 (both from UD). They plan to marry in the summer of 2010!
Fran L. Nadel (Elementary Teacher Education) is currently the 2nd Grade team leader at a Fairfax County Public School in Northern Virginia.
Andrea C. (Lang) Schrÿvers (International Relations) gave birth to a boy, Matthijs Alexander, on September 24, 2008. She is working at Chellomedia, a satellite channel broadcaster.

Stephanie A. Culver (Biology) is a first-year medical student at New York University School of Medicine in New York, NY.
Michael T. Byrne (Criminal Justice & Psychology) spent summer 2008 as part of the Miami Dolphins football team. He was released at the end of camp and spent the next three months in a Canadian football league with the Calgary Stampeders.
Rosh J. Dhanawade (Computer Science) is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Indiana University. He is getting married to Amber Wagner on July 11, 2009.
Jenna Dietz (Neuroscience) is a first year student in a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program, specializing in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Florida. An article from a study that she worked on at UD was recently published: Moser, Krompinger, Dietz, & Simons (2009). Electrophysiological correlates of decreasing and increasing emotional responses to unpleasant pictures. Pyschophysiology, 45, 17-27.
Kevin L. Hooper (Criminal Justice) is currently attending Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE. He will be interning at the Morris County Prosecutor's Office in Morristown, NJ this summer.
Katherine E. Houle (Elementary Teacher Education) is employed by the Chester County Intermediate Unit. She will marry Scott Hansen on May 16, 2009.
Elizabeth A. Kowell (Political Science & Women's Studies) is going to law school in the fall. She's been accepted to three schools so far! Currently, Lizzie is working at Citibank in Riverhead, Long Island.
