Freshman Honors Program 1976
Kate M. Brett (AB, University of Chicago, 1980; MA, W. Virginia University; Ph.D., University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill) was recently promoted to Captain in the U.S. Public Health Service. She released a CD last year as the banjo player for the Hooner Uprights. Kate has two daughters ages nine and seven.
Donald W. Dickson (JD, The New York Law School, 1984) celebrated his tenth anniversary as an attorney at The Parker Law Firm and as counsel to the Texas State Troopers Association. In 2006 he was best man at the wedding of fellow FHP'er Tom Little in Baltimore. (Tom and his wonderful bride Peggy are building a new home in Chambersburg, PA.) Don dotes on his own bride, Carla, because she's a divorce lawyer. He recently received the Judge Suzanne Covington Pro Bono Service Award from Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas.
Lois A. Fitton (BA, University of Virginia, 1980; MBA, University of Pennsylvania, 1988) is presently retired and enjoying her happily married life after spending 20 years in pharmaceutical marketing.
Susan M. Helms (JD, Stetson University, 1992) has been practicing law in St. Petersburg, Florida for the last 15 years and is currently a sole practitioner specializing in family law and family mediation. She is expecting a baby boy in March.

Thomas W. Langlois (BS, Loyola of Maryland; JD, University of Cincinnati) is currently employed as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati's College of Law and also as a staff attorney for the Ohio Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.
Victor S. Sloan (AB, University of Chicago, 1980; MD, New York Medical College, 1989) is a father of two adopted children, Mei-lin (8) and An-lin (3). He left the pharmaceutical industry in late 2005 for the bio-tech world -- "with no regrets."
Daniel Winester (BS, Purdue University, 1981; MS, Georgia Tech, 1984) has spent the last 20 years as a geodesist with the National Geodetic Survey doing temporal change of acceleration of gravity studies for geodetic and hydrology research.

Amy E. (Behrendt) Graham received a BA from Allegheny College in 1981 and a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in 1987.
Paul Schillawski (BA, University of Colorado, 1979; JD, University of Denver, 1985) is enjoying part two of his legal career, having switched from private practice to Porsche almost two years ago. He's getting married this fall (second for both) and his sons and field spaniel are excited about it.

Mark A. Stone (BA, University of Maryland, 1982; Ph.D., University of Rochester, 1987) is a recently published author of a book entitled, Open Sources 2.0. His eldest son, Alex, graduates from middle school this year and youngest son, Nathan, just turned one.
Deborah R. Syna (BA, University of Texas at Austin, 1981; MD, University of Texas Medical Branch, 1988) is enjoying life as a mother of two-year-old Nina Yulan Syna.
Chris L. Tedder (BS, Geology, University of Missouri, 1987) is currently an environmental consultant and happily married father of three children. He is living in the Midwest.

Patricia (Bickford) Alfieri (Nursing) is a founding board member of a non-profit community organic dairy farm that is opening Spring 2007 and daughter, Robin, is a violin performance major in the Honors Program.
Gretchen (Schuckert) Crumpacker (English) works as a contract paralegal for Tharpe & Howell and is a freelance writer while raising Sam, age five, Matt, age four, and Julia, age 19 months; oldest daughter, Erika, was married in October 2006.

Wagner (International Relations; MA, Catholic University of America, World Politics, 1984) has been a Catholic sister since 1988 in the Community Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and has been on mission trips to Mexico, El Salvador, Panama, and in various areas of the United States. Has been the congregation treasurer and is now known as Sister Angela.

Kimberly S. Bockius-Suwyn (English) recently opened a human resource consulting firm with husband, M. Daniel Suwyn (1985, Political Science).
David Critics (History and Art History; MA, History, 1996; MBA, Chadwick University, 1996) retired from the U.S. Army in July 2006 and joined Computer Sciences Corporation as a senior analyst to work on the NATO Active Layered Theatre Ballistic Missile Defence Programme in Brussels, Belgium. He is accompanied by his wife, Angela (Bloch) Critics (1985, English and Art History) and daughter, Rebecca. Son, Daniel, recently started his first year of college in the Honors Program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Lori Frank (Biological Sciences; MA, Johns Hopkins University, 1987; Ph.D., Pennsylvania State University, 1995) is employed with the Center for Health Outcomes Research at UBC as the executive director, specializing in health outcomes research, and is living in Maryland with her children who are now 9 and 4.

Daniel C. Schlotterbeck (Accounting) recently joined Kinedyne Corporation, the leading manufacturer of cargo control systems to the transportation industry, in Branchburg, New Jersey, as their chief financial officer, and lives in Bloomingdale, NJ with his wife, Carol (1985, Nursing), and their two children.

Lisa Maurer (Psychology and Philosophy) is currently a part of the Student Affairs Department of Ithaca College. In the fall of 2006, she was awarded the Distinguished Service to Higher Education Award by the College Student Personnel Association of New York State. The award honors an educator who has given distinguished service to higher education and whose ideas show considerable promise for improving the quality of learning in post-secondary institutions. In December she was also the recipient of the IC Choice Award at Ithaca College. This award recognizes employees for their outstanding contributions to the college community and she was recognized for extraordinary dedication to the college’s institutional goal of increasing diversity on campus.
David Slayton Meale (Arts & Science; MBA, Tulane, 1988) is currently a foreign service officer handling economic issues at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. He married Lisa O'Donnell and they have two boys, Theo (8) and Bennett (5).
Michael Nagle (Chemistry; MBA, University of Virginia Darden School of Business, 1990) is a director for JPMorgan Chase.
John Michael Nahay (Chemical Engineering; Ph.D., Mathematics, 2000) has been an executive at Microsoft since graduating in 2000 with a Ph.D. in Mathematics. He designs very subtle and complex mathematical modules for their software, such as the new Vista operating system.

Marybeth (Hurlbutt) Auletto (Psychology and Sociology; MA, Temple University, 1989; Ph.D., Psychology, Ohio State University, 2006) was appointed Visiting Assistant Professor at Ohio State University.
Dan Sheridan (Electrical Engineering; MS, Engineering Management, University of Dayton, 1991) is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and currently Deputy Director for the 658th Aeronautical Systems Group located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This 145-person unit is responsible for development, production and sustainment activities for the MQ-1 predator and MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programs, which are currently deployed to support the global war on terrorism. The unit was recently recognized by several major awards: 2005 Order of Daedalians Weapons System Award, the 2006 John J. Welch Award for Excellence in Weapons System Acquisition, and the Air Force Material Command nominee for the Air Force Association Citation of Honor Award. Dan and his wife, Gail, have three children ages six to 13.

Robert L. Donaway (Math Education; MA, Montclair State College, 1992; Ph.D., University of Virginia, 1999) is a senior software engineer at Near Infinity Corporation. At night, Robert teaches graduate courses at the University of Virginia - NOVA campus. He recently traveled to South Africa, Italy, France and Spain.
Mary Ellen Franciscus (Math and Geography; MSE, Operations Research, Princeton, 1993) taught math and statistics in high schools and a community college. She is now a full-time mother to her two sons under four.
Michael J. Haas (Chemistry; MS, University of Toronto, 1990) left the pharmaceutical industry in 2003, after 14 years as an analytical chemist. Since 2005, he has run his own business, Vesta Writing & Editing Services. Until recently, he wrote a monthly column, "Zocalo," for Wilmington-based Living Well Magazine, and since the summer of 2006, Michael has been the public relations manager for The Seventh Academy (Wilmington, DE) where he also teaches. Most recently, his article, "With One Foot in Each World: Exploring Fantasy Worlds From a Shamanic Frame," will be published in the April 2007 issue of Shaman's Drum, a national magazine based in Portland, Oregon.
Ken Greenebaum (Computer Science) is an employee of Apple Computer and an accomplished author with two books published (a third will be published soon), and also is enjoying married life with wife, Michelle.
Dan Winter (International Relations; JD, Boston University, 1991) is the Senior Director for Development at CARE in Chicago, Illinois.

Julie (Williams) Reagan (Communications; MA, Journalism, Temple University, 1993) has a fantastic job working for the conservation of Lake Tahoe for future generations. Her title is Communications & Legislative Affairs Chief, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. She began working there in 2004.
Tom Shade (English) co-founded and ran a small theater company in Wilmington, Delaware (City Theater Company) from 1993-2004. He has almost completed an MFA program in theater at Towson University. Tom is married with two kids and living in Baltimore, Maryland. He writes plays, stories and poetry.

Christine Franklin Courson (Arts & Science) and husband, Keith, have six kids ranging in age from 12 years to 9 months. She is thriving on the constant challenge of mothering and teaching her blossoming children. There's never a boring day with that crowd to shepherd!
Tracy (Witek) Lewandowski (English) is a general manager for Magellan Health Services in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Kelley A. McDonald (English; MEd, Loyola College, 1994; MA, University of Baltimore, 1996) is employed as an information architect for Navigation Arts and lives in Washington, D.C. with wife, Mariana Cavaleati (a native of Brazil), and two daughters, Isabella (5) and Juliana (2).
Hope (Robbins) Odell (German; MEE, Wilmington College, 1994) is a resident of Pennsylvania teaching in Delaware. Her son, Andrew, is now five years old.
Cynthia Fico Simpson (Psychology) recently gave birth to her third son and returned to work as a human resources professional at St. John's University.

Jai Jennifer (Business Administration; MA, University of Delaware, 1996; MBA, University of California Berkeley, 2000) is the owner of Northern Real Estate in California.
Bryan D. Lemon (Biology and Chemistry; Ph.D., Molecular Biology, Cornell Medical School, 1997) was married in June 2005 and is the proud father of his first son, born in December 2006.

Ruth (Glicklich) deBang (Arts & Science; MA and professional diploma, Kean University) gave birth to Helena Olivia on September 28, 2006. Ruth is currently on maternity leave from the Bridgewater-Raritan School District where she works as a school psychologist.
Abigail A. Fagan (English and Criminal Justice; Ph.D., University of Colorado, 2001) will be an assistant professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of South Carolina.
Catherine Barbieri (English; JD, University of Pennsylvania, 1996) will be starting renovations on a home purchased in the Center City, Philadelphia, neighborhood of Bella Vista. In September of 2006 she and her son, Moss, who will be three in May, welcomed little Nico Eliel to the family.
Vicki L. (McKay) Ivancevic (Finance) has been working for McDonald's USA, LLC since June of 1997 and was recently promoted to Senior Business Technical Analyst, focusing on development and deployment of business intelligence tools. She married Jovan Ivancevic in September 2003 and they live in Bolingbrook, Illinois with their dog Packer.

Amy M. V. Bowers (Mathematics; M.Ed., College Counseling, 1995; Ph.D, Counseling Psychology, Penn State University, 2000) is a licensed psychologist at the American University Counseling Center in Washington, D.C. where she is the Assistant Director for Outreach and Consultation. She also has a private practice in Washington, D.C. While traveling in Italy during June 2006, her partner Philip proposed to her in the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean. They were married on June 9, 2007 and expecting their first child in mid-September.
Mary (Scott) Gregory (English) married Chris Gregory at Strathmore Hall, North Bethesda, Maryland, in December 2004. Former Honors Program roommate, Dr. Alexa (Whoriskey) Love (1992, AS), attended the wedding as well as Jennifer (Russell) Tetrick (1992, AS). Mary started a new job in December 2006 with a software company called Real Magnet LLC, in Bethesda, Maryland, where she works as a senior sales executive. She and Chris live in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Kristen L. (Shiring) Kerwin (Mathematics) is living in Schwenksville, PA with her husband, Bill (UD '93, Honors-Political Science), and their four children: Emma, six; Danielle, four; Corinne, two; and Liam, two months.
Eleesha M. Lewis (Pyschology; MA, Philosophy, The George Washington University, 1997) currently works with the U.S. Department of State's foreign service as an Office Management Specialist and is currently posted in New Delhi, India. Will be transferring to Mexico City, Mexico, this summer.
Morgan (Icenogle) Morrison (English; MS, University of Texas, 1995) is employed with the State Bar of Texas, Austin as a projects manager.
Jennifer A. Taylor (Animal Science; MS, Conservation Biology, University of Maryland) moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and started working at the Tulsa Zoo.
Raj Tuli (Biochemistry; MD, Temple University, 1998) married Pam Toomey (now Tuli) in October 2000 and they have two children. Currently, Raj is an active duty Air Force radiologist stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.
Theresa Albright Walls (Biology) works as a pediatric emergency medicine physician.
Stephanie C. (Levine) Wichansky (Accounting; MBA, Columbia School of Business, 2000) is currently enjoying domestic bliss as a happy wife and loving mother of two boys, Jake (6) and Corey (4).

Christine Bongiorno (Animal Science; DVM, Purdue University, 1998) has been working at Warren Animal Hospital in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, for nearly five years. It is a small, but very busy, animal practice. She and husband, Chris, have been in their Poconos home since December 2002.
Gregory C. Crofton (History) currently works for the The Documentary Channel writing for its web site.
Erika (Oxenreider) Kindoll (Chemistry Education; MA Education, Gratz University, 2000; MS Education, Wilkes University, 2007) is a Chemistry teacher at Tulpehocken Area High School in Bernville, Pennsylvania. She and husband, Bill, welcomed their first child, Makaylah Ann on September 9, 2006.

Candace J. Lewis (Communication) is currently the Student Affairs Officer for UCLA's Writing Programs and also freelances as a grant writer and researcher for moving-image (film, video, and digital media) non-profit initiatives.
Katie E. (Wright) McAvoy (Accounting) writes they are expecting a third addition to their growing family.
Pamela Ann (Miller) Sikora (English, Business/Technical Writing) lives in Ellicott City and owns a bakery (Fisher's) with her husband in the historic district. Andrea Jane Sikora was born December 13, 2006. She joins her three-year-old sister, Meredith.
Adam L. Weaver (Biology and Psychology; Ph.D., Neurobiology, Ohio Univeristy, 2001) is a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington and has recently accepted a tenure-track position in the Biology Department at Xavier University of Louisiana starting fall 2007.

Adams (Finance and Operations; MBA, Salisbury University, 1998) is a Strategic Information Systems Manager for the State of Delaware working on a project to implement a new financial management system for the state and is also mother to newborn Zane David Adams who was born March 6, 2006 and joins big brother Alex Avery Adams, four, and Tori Devon Adams, two.
Shannon Athey (English; MA, MSEd., University of Pennsylvania) and husband, Clay - both 1995 Honors Program grads - had their first Blue Hen baby, Megan Kathleen, in August 2006.

Karin Willner Brown (Family and Community Services, History; Master of Public Policy, College of William and Mary, 1999) married Marshall Brown in 2002. They live in Falls Church, Virginia, near fellow UD UHP Alumna, Amy Willner Halstead. In 2003, Karin started a federal government career with the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C., and recently completed a leadership training program for mid-level managers. In 2005, she ran the Marine Corps Marathon and loved every minute of it! Last summer she traveled to Estes Park, Colorado, for the wedding of another UD UHP alumna, Caryn Bohn Becker.
Susan (List) Hauske (Marketing & Management) married David Hauske in June of 2006, and is a full equity partner with Tybout Redfearn & Pell, a civil defense litigation firm in Wilmington, Delaware.
Bryan L. Hutton (Chemical Engineering) works for Lubrizol in the Dallas, Texas area. He and his wife, Laura, have three children -- Tonia, Taylor and Tatum.
Ryan R. Martin (Mathematical Sciences; Ph.D., Mathematics, Rutgers University, 2000) is an assistant professor at Iowa State University. His fields of interest are extremal and probabilistic combinatorics and graph theory. But, he is willing to consider all generous employment offers!

Nicole M. (Scherneck) Bishop (Chemical Engineering; MBA, Unversity of Delaware, 2004) recently gave birth to a son, Elliot Jonathan Bishop.
Jonathan D. Hauke (Electrical Engineering; MS, Computer Engineering, 1999) works on microprocessor architecture for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Jonathan got married last year and adopted a son this year with wife, Jeanette.
Suzanne (Woods) Lyles (Electrical Engineering; MS, Electrical Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, 1999) is a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton working as an instructional designer and is expecting her first child in August 2007 with husband, Jonathan.
Vasudha (Arvind Bhide) Aruna Panday (Biology, Liberal Studies; MD, Jefferson Medical College, 2001) moved to San Antonio, Texas where she is a cornea and refractive surgeon at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base. She and her husband are expecting their first child in May of this year.
Catherine Pollard (Music Education) was married August 2006 in Seattle to Greg Pollard and is a grad student at the University of Washington in Seattle finishing her doctoral dissertation in music education on the student teacher-cooperating teacher relationship and is also applying for university positions nationally and internationally.
Erica Sparks (Psychology; MA, Counseling Education, University of Southern Florida, 2000) is working as a guidance counselor at a local area high school with at-risk students.
Spencer Payne (Biology; MD, Stony Brook School of Medicine, 2001) will be completing a fellowship in Rhinology and Sinus Surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts in June 2007 and will then be taking a faculty position as assistant professor with the University of Virginia Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery starting in July 2007.

Dryw Dworsky (Psychology) is working for Bowling Green State University as the director for the Psychological Services Center.
Kimberly (Krouse) Goodwin (Geophysics; MBA, University of Southern Mississippi, 2001; MS, Finance, George Washington University, 2002) is in her third year of the Ph.D. program in Finance at the University of Alabama. In May 2006 she gave birth to a son, Luke Mitchell Goodwin. She also has a daughter, Brooke, who is three years old. She and her husband own OpenSourceHost and OpenSourceCMS.
Brett A. Niessen (Elementary Education) is working on a master's in Public Health from the University of Washington and expects to graduate in June 2007. He is also working on a statewide coalition to change Washington state health education legislation and is re-writing a sex education curriculum for teen peer educators for Planned Parenthood. He has been happily partnered for four years.
Jennifer Kern (Chemistry) is working as a special agent with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation as a forensic chemist.
Anuj Parikh (Biology/Liberal Studies; MD, Jefferson Medical College, 2002) and wife, Tejal, have a son named Chetan who is now 18 months old. In October 2006, Anuj became the medical director of the Erlanger North Emergency Department in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as well as, the director for graduate and undergraduate medical education for emergency medicine at the University of Tennessee's Chattanooga campus based at Erlanger Medical Center.
Eliza Redlus (Psychology; MA in Counseling, New York University) and her husband, Josh (AS '97), welcomed their son, Kaden Jack, on August 23, 2006. Eliza is a hospice counselor and Josh is an HR manager at Burts Bees, Inc. They reside in Raleigh, NC.

Bhatia (Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry; Ph.D./MD, University of Pennsylvania, 2003) was recently appointed to the Governor's Council on Lifestyle and Fitness and was awarded the University of Delaware Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement in 2006. She was invited to represent the United States at the 2006 Japan-U.S. Frontiers of Engineering symposium and will be co-organizing the 2007 Japan-U.S. Frontiers of Engineering meeting.
Diane E. Bockrath (International Relations; MA, Johns Hopkins University, 2004) currently works for Johns Hopkins as a publications editor while working to complete a degree in Archival Science at the University of Maryland. She also freelances for the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore.
Jill Cortright (English/Journalism) was promoted six months ago from Journal Production Editor to Journal Production Manager at Cadmus Communications (Columbia, Maryland) working on the scientific journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) and is engaged and planing an April 2008 wedding.

Andrea (Wheatley) McFadden (Chemistry) and her family have been living in the Boston area for three years. Andrea plans to go back to school to earn her Masters in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs this fall. Currently, she works for Chemic Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company, in Canton, Massachusetts.
Dianna M. Pell (Political Science; Masters, Public Administration, 2002) began working for the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration as the Legislative Coordinator in November 2006.

Susan J. Avillo (Nursing) is engaged to Adam Scherr and wedding plans are set for September 2007. She is currently pursuing an MS in Nursing at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Upon completion, she plans a practice as a geriatric nurse practitioner.
Karen Bard (Psychology) was maried to a Newark native, Alex Bard, in July 2004 and relocated to Dover when Alex was activated in the Air Force. She's done some Wilmington Theatre and will take an improv comedy class at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater in New York this June. Karen recently started a tutoring business to keep busy until she and Alex leave in October for a year of travel in Europe.

Kelly Chisholm (Chemistry) was married on June 17, 2006. She attended the Oscars on February 25, 2007, one of the many perks of working for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Engle (Neuroscience; MA, Clinical Psychology, Columbia University, 2004) is a clinical psychology doctoral student in the Virginia Consortium Program (The College of William and Mary; Eastern Virginia Medical School; Old Dominion University; Norfolk State University). She is working with Dr. Tom Cash and her dissertation work will focus on body image and eating disorders. She expects to graduate in 2009.
Dan Friedman (Management/Marketing; M.Ed., University of Delaware, 2006) married Katie Humfeld (2003) on June 23, 2007 in Newark, Delaware. They live outside Washington, D.C. where Dan works as an assistant registrar at The George Washington University and Katie teaches elementary school music.

Greg Kaufmann (English Literature and Chemistry; MBA, Duke University, 2007) recently finished his MBA at Duke by completing a semester abroad in Sydney, Australia. He and his wife, Dania, are on a five-month trip around the world before he starts a new job at Bank of America in New York City.
Adam M. Seidel (Finance; JD, Brooklyn Law School, 2005) was admitted to the New York Bar Association and is an associate with Gindi and Barone, LLP in Jericho, New York.
Brian Werner (Marketing) moved back to the Philadelphia area with wife, Amy Humfeld Werner (2001, Biology), and moved into their first house last year. Brian continues to sell advertising for AOL and Amy is in her second year of residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. They started a family last year with Bauer -- a rescued puppy of some unknown make and model. Puppy and parents are doing very well.

Michael L. Allison Olszewski (Biochemistry) completed a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Irvine in June 2006. Since June 2006, she has been employed at Amgen (Mountain View, CA) as a Lead Discovery Scientist.

She graduated from veterinary school at the University of Georgia in 2006. Currently, Amanda is working as an associate veterinarian at a small animal practice and living in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Kara Strauss (Business Adminstration/Marketing; MBA, University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, 2006) is living and working in Atlanta, Georgia. Her job consists of everything marketing in the Atlanta office of McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., a St. Louis-based construction management company. Her spare time is spent singing with her band, learning trapeze, training for the ING Atlanta Marathon and hanging out with friends.

She expects to graduate in September 2007. In August 2007, she and Eric Deguns, a Canadian chemist who she met at UCSB, will be married.
Michael Williams (International Relations; MA with Distinction, Humboldt Universitaet - Berlin, 2003; Ph.D., London School of Economics, 2006), as head of the Transatlantic Security Programme at the Royal United Services Institute, is engaged in a strategic concepts and planning study examining NATO-NGO-IO cooperation in Afghanistan. He was editor for the book, Power in World Politics, released by Routledge in 2007, which includes chapters from Joe Nye, Ronnie Lipschutz, Joe Grieco and Stefano Guzzini.

Eller (Biochemistry) is concluding a year in Brazil as a National Institutes of Health Fogarty-Ellison Fellow in Global Health and Clinical Research conducting research investigating the causes and effects of chronic early childhood diarrhea in urban favelas and will return in mid-May 2007 to the University of Virginia for final year of medical school and to apply for residency training in ophthalmology.
Dan Freess (Bio and Medical Studies) will graduate from Jefferson Medical College in June and begin his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Connecticut - Hartford in July.
Robert H. Goretsky has been working for MLB.com (Major League Baseball) as a data integration architect in New York City for the past year and is living in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Joanna Wagner (Landscape Horticulture) is entering her third year at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. In July, she will marry Jonah Paisner, who maintains his own law practice in Portland, and she will graduate in May 2008 with a certificate in Business Law. She is putting her undergraduate degree to use in her own yard, experimenting with permaculture and other sustainable horticultural practices.

Colleen Elizabeth Beaty (Wildlife Conservation; Professional Certificate, Environmental Policy, Bard College, 2005) moved to the Washington, D.C. area last June to start working at the Wildlife Habitat Council. She was recently promoted from research assistant to senior research assistant, and loves her new position.
Amanda (Twiford) Bowman (Biology) recently married Jonathan Bowman (Political Science, '02) in November 2006. She will graduate from medical school in June 2008 and is currently researching obstetrics/gynecology residency programs in the area.
Jen Carr (Animal Science) will graduate from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and hopes to specialize in small animal orthopedic surgery.

Lori E. (Slonaker) Lincoln (International Relations) currently attends the West Virginia University College of Law and is expecting to graduate in May 2007. She was offered a position in the Army JAG Corps. She married UD 2004 alum, Donald Lincoln, Capt., U.S. Army, in June 2006.
Adam Michael McGee (English; MTS, Harvard Divinity School, Harvard University, 2007) graduated from Havard University with a Masters of Theological Studies. After graduation, Adam was hired at Harvard as Prof. Jacob K. Olupona's research assistant. He is currently helping to plan a major international conference on Ifa divination.

Rebecca (Myers) Jacques (Fine Arts and French Literature) married Jovani Jacques (forrestry engineering major at Laval University in Quebec) on July 1, 2006. She is a missionary associate for St-Marc's Reformed Church and a boutique manager for a local jewelry store in Quebec, Canada. Her work as a missionary associate has been to create an English-immersion program for French-speaking kids in the neighborhood around the church -- a challenge, but it's going well!
Rebecca Lebsock (Liberal Studies) moved to NC from Seattle, Washington a few weeks ago after working for Starbucks.
